Look on yonders website, check out their tour page, everyday of eff is on their tour page, of course it's says Jeff Austin band, but with him their i don't see any reason why the other three wouldn't be there, plus this schedule is light on the bluegrass side l, Sundays at eff have been heavy bluegrass sessions, and you can totally see Jeff sitting in with cheese on Sundays first set, guess we will know after summercamp (why is this festival still going on)

Sorry if you like summercamp, I used to like them until I used the eff porter potties, now it seems like a choir to go to scamp and Hoover above the shit crested porter johns

I can barely even grasp what you're trying to say, and Summer Camp is multitudes better than Electric Forest. I have never got a bad vibe at Scamp once. People are nicer and actually there for the music not just to "RAGE!!". Though I Agree Jay Goldberg is money hungry and neglects the fact that there is a mud problem every year and that the porta johns need to be cleaned twice a day obviously. How does shit get above the toilet seat!?!?!

i can't agree with this post at all
music-wise, SCamp might do a little better (although i don't need all that UM and moe.)... but there's definitely a lot of people that are there to do one thing, and one thing only. and it has nothing to do with the music... just strolling thru the woods can be enough to creep you out sometimes with all the nasty zombies that are in there doing god knows what
EFF, with all it's shortcomings when it comes to the lineup, still blows SCamp WAY out of the water when it comes to the grounds, preparation, knowing what's going on, etc. every time i've gone to SCamp i've been baffled at how poorly they've been prepared and how badly the festival is run... from the very second you reach the parking lot. and that festival is going on, what? 12 years now... and they can hardly get you in to the grounds without it being a giant clusterfuck
my wife and i even opted to spend a little more to do VIP last year hoping that might alleviate some of the issues and it was just as bad. the VIP camping spots suuuuuuuuucked and were miserably hot with the sun beating down on them for most of the day and the amenities were a joke. AC bathrooms were nice, but outside of the first day, I never went to the showers and they were actually working. that's just ridiculous to me... what did i pay extra for? we've decided we won't be returning
TL;DR version: SCamp is in NO way better than EFF... even with a lineup like they push out every year.

Yonder played a smokin Friday afternoon show with Fishman on drums (7/4, babycakes) at Rothbury in '08 (I think). I had a hella good time. I'm pretty sure errbody else did too.
I'm down for some Sunday bluegrass, but if Yonder plays I hope it's not "chill".
Also, yes, people use porta-potties. What kind of question is that? Portas at EFF are cleaned 3 times/day and they do a damn fine job. Use off-the-beatin-path portas early in the morning if you must duece. Stay away from the main vein porta-potties if you can. These rules have always served me well.

Sorry to deviate from topic once again, but EFF porta-johns at the campsites right around 5-6am when they're first cleaned for the day made me feel like a king sitting on his throne.

yeah i really hope we have bluegrass each day. I have very little interest in seeing the button mashers during the day let alone at night. So here is to hoping we get some bluegrass each day!

Lol don't come on a Rothbury board and expect to not get flamed when you shout out other festivals are better.. lol.
Yonder is hit and miss for me, but I think a Saturday afternoon set would be nice.

Might I add that this could potentially result in a Dead-Set.

Could this possibly mean Lettuce coming? Possibly a Kraz funk DJ set like http://royalfamily.bandcamp.com/album/the-funky-president-mixtape, maybe he will be on the new silent disco. Curious.

I understand why bluegrass fits more during the day. It seems most want bluegrass during the day, and to an extent, I agree. But if we are lucky enough to get a Yonder set, id much rather have it a late night set. Those are WAYYYYY more intense than a yonder afternoon show.
Or give me either greensky or railroad on a late night. Having the choice of a little late night jamgrass would be nice one night. Roth 08 did railroad late night on Thursday.
