Camp happy ending was in camp trout. Great location.

Some infobury's found our camp an I was able to meet a couple of you guys briefly.
I will definitely be more involved with this forum this year, instead of just lurking.

MsMolly and I were on the far left end of Camp Muskie. Our neighbors to our right were awesome and very nice (gave them almost a full case of beer on Sunday on our way out, didn't feel like dragging it home).

;) You know that khaki colored unnamed random section of the map next to Tripolee? We were in that corner. I could see the screens and front view of Tripolee from our row.

Our camp wasn't even on the map, I think everyone called it Camp Nowhere. We were about 2 miles from the venues, thank the festival gods for the taxis at night!! ;D

We were located in Camp Catfish, one row off of Maple Street - about 10 minute walk from the epicentre, pretty decent because when we wanted to sleep the music wasn't too loud, but it wasn't unreasonable to walk at all. :)

I looked for Camp Infobury, but never found you! Where were you camped?

We were also in Camp Catfish.
One good thing about being so far is that the balloon mafia wasn't a huge presence back there. Where we were last year, we had them coming through our camp constantly and there were thousands of spent balloons all about.

I had heard it called "Area 51" by a few folks. It was a very long walk. I realized my motorcycle would easily fit into a site near the main entrance, so I was able to cut off a significant part of the hike. :) (yup, that was me on the yellow bike rumbling thru the crowd)

Against the fence on Main St. near the intersection with Laura Lane.
No car made it a whole lot easier to get a convenient spot. Downside is that these kids don't quite seem to understand "hitchhiking". (Took me over four hours to thumb up from Holland on Thursday morning - and all 3 rides were locals.)

And where the heck was camp infobury?? still haven't heard

I got stuck in the no name camp. It was the one on the oposite side of clay road. You know the one that wasn't even labeled on the map. Oh yeah.

Camp Infobury took up almost a whole row of cars and we successfully kept everyone together thanks to text messaging, and Claire and I keeping careful watch for all people wanting to camp with us. Unfortunately we missed Killura because security was about to remove us if we didn't get going.

We were in Camp Muskie right behind the porto Johns. Not a bad walk at all, and we had a really grat time!
